Worked for my lcd tv and dvd player (measurements below),
This review is from: Fellowes Standard Monitor Riser (91712) (Office Product)
Simple, stable, sturdy (all plastic). I tested it with a 19" LCD flat-screen TV (11 lbs).
Economical: Among the most inexpensive stands you'll find (unless you improvise) at seventeen-bux. Prices for these things in general are crazy - it's just a plastic board with 4 legs, after all. I like that the sides are not closed off. There is plenty of room between the front and back legs so that it can easily fit over an object wider than itself (eg 43cm-wide dvd player). Note: This is the lowest model of 3 versions. The others add a bottom platform as well as a slide-in drawer. The legs are made up of 2 segments of different heights (Big and Small), either of which can be omitted to lower the height, giving you 3 different options for total height. MEASUREMENTS Platform . Width: 33.4 cm . Depth: 33.0 - 34.3 cm (not true square as the front bows out, so 34.3 cm through the middle) Leg segment diameter (round) . 4.0 cm diameter . Rubber pad/foot under bottom leg segment: 4.2 cm diameter Leg segment height . Big segment: 4.9 cm . Small segment: 2.9 cm . Rubber foot: 0.1 cm Height breakdown (just subtract big or small segment to get intermediate heights) . Platform thickness: 1.9 cm . Mount points: + 0.3 cm (the parts of the platform where you attach the legs) . Big segment: + 4.9 cm . Small segment: + 2.9 cm . Rubber foot: + 0.1 cm . TOTAL/MAX: 10.1 cm Underneath horizontal clearance (distance between legs and feet) to fit an object . Width (left-to-right): 25.3 cm apart (10") . Depth (front-to-back): 24.8 cm apart Underneath vertical clearance With both segments used, there is 8.2 cm from the ground to the bottom of the platform, but there are two guides molded into the bottom for sliding in a drawer. These protrude downwards, run front to back, reducing vertical clearance by 1" (2.54 cm), leaving 5.6 cm, for any object that does not fit between them. To fit between them, an object must be less than 23.2 cm wide - which allows it to take advantage of all 8.2 cm of vertical clearance.

This review is from: Fellowes Standard Monitor Riser (91712) (Office Product)
All reading, including books, newspaper and computer screens, should ideally be done with the head and neck straight, with eyes looking ahead.
For those who sit and read their screens a lot, this monitor riser promotes good sitting posture. In addition to relieving stress on the neck, the raised monitor prevents "slouching" which so many people do in front of their computers. The device is simple, but the ergonomic benefits are enormous. I highly recommend it, especially those with neck problems.

Works for me,

I bought both the Targus PA235U stand and this one and decided to keep this Fellows stand. The Targus stand looks nice, but it is more expensive, and the minimum height is too high for my setup. From my experience with computers, I would say the three adjustable heights offered by this stand are more appropriate for most people than the two heights offered by the Targus stand.
