Just as Good
My daughter saw a birthday cake hat at a party store and loved it. But I wasn't going to pay $20 for a novelty hat. So when I found this I knew she would love it just the same, and I was right. The fabric is a little thinner than I would prefer, but can't beat the price!

Happy Birthday written backwards!
This would be a great birthday hat if it actually said "happy birthday". The words are on there, but the writing was embroidered inside out. It's not even salvageable to just wear it as a birthday cake hat without any writing, because the backside of the embroidery shows. What a disappointment. I'll have to buy another one somewhere else, even if I have to pay more.

Although this is in toys department, it doesn't even fit my adult head so of course our children can't wear it at all. They play with it and bring it to Daddy to wear, but even with that little usage the strings that go around the candles and have all come undone. Not safe for children.
