Felt Tales Heroes to the Rescue is a quality product. Not including the handle the board measures 11 3/4" x 14 5/8". The story board comes with an attached handle & a plastic zip lock case to store the pieces in. Using the included plastic clip, the storage case can be clipped to the handle to keep all the pieces together. Some of the pieces have what appears to be a vinyl sticker (but isn't a sticker) on the felt; for example, the policeman's arms and face are 'vinyl stickers'. I tried pulling & peeling the 'stickers' off & couldn't get them off. Of course, I didn't try real hard because I didn't want to ruin my grandson's gift. I'm sure a child could pull them off if they try hard enough. I also purchased Trucks, Trains & Planes Pre-Cut Feltboard Set which can be added to the clip & stored with the story board.My son & his wife will be using the story board for bedtime stories. I think my grandson will enjoy using his imagination with this toy too. If he likes this, I plan on purchasing a few more. I'll update my review when my kids let me know how much their 2 yr old likes this toy. (recommended age is 3+) I rated the durability at 3 1/2 stars rounded up to 4, but Amazon keeps putting 5 stars. After several attempts to change this rating to 4, I gave up. |
