Editorial Reviews

Review

“The book’s layout, finished-item photos, and project instructions in the back are all easy on the eyes. While newborns quickly outgrow their clothes, anything made from this book would be a keepsake.”—ForeWord Reviews

Although I've only made the baby booties so far from the book's directions, I would have liked the directions to be a little bit clearer.

This book is a disappointment. I saw a few of the projects that were featured online and thought it looked like it had something to offer. I was wrong. A few of the projects are cute but the instructions are really spare and not very well done. I am a long time, professional felter and know how it is done and I couldn't really "get" the instructions. I teach felting and write instructions for kits and these instructions are so badly written I would never recommend this book to anyone. The Q & A section is so unclear as to possibly be badly translated from another language. Boo. The photos are nice and as I said some of the projects are cute but overall it is just another felting book made to sell and not very well done. Boo.

I love this book! The items are so adorable. There are pictures for each step at the beginning of the book. Supplies needed, besides the wool roving and felting needles, are regular household items. There are projects for wet felting and needle felting. What a great set of projects!
