The Female Force graphic novel series has covered influential women "who are shaping modern history and culture," So, I've talked about my obsession with educational comics here before. I love comics as an art form and a communication tool. And I love following Blue Water Comics' Female Force series, in which the biographies of famous women are told in words and pictures. The series really shines with its political figure titles, which offer a balanced look at their subject matter. And that has to do with Neal Bailey, who authored most of them. Aside from the Female Force titles, they're releasing other biographical series that make for interesting reading. I really liked learning about what Angelina Jolie has done other than movies. A good read!
