This coupler worked great for me. I used it to connect two 25' HDMI cables together in order to make it all the way from my upstairs Tivo HD to another HDTV in my basement. For some reason, I kept doubting that this would work. It seems like too much to ask for the HDMI cables to run that long, and the coupler seemed like adding an even bigger hurdle.

But the signal is absolutely perfect. There are no traditional "losses" in an HDMI connection. Either the digital "handshake" works or it doesn't, it's an all or nothing connection. So this coupler maintained the connection.

These adapters with a 20 or 25 foot hdmi male male cable give you the means to extend oddballs like the 3 foot micro hdmi for droid phones to full size hdmi to reach the tv set from the a/v adapter and charger and sound and usb output device motorola makes for the bionic.

The odd thing is I waited this long to buy one! I've tried to use hdmi proper length cables to prevent the need for the adapter, but its integral to the hdmi system. Don't run your hdmi too far and things will be OK in the digital domain. I bought a 25 foot optical cable to extend my sound on fiber to where I need it also - that worked out very well.

Anyhow not alot to say here except they are well made and do the trick. If you want to make a 25foot oddball hdmi to regular hdmi then extend it 25 feet - this is how to do it and have signal at the end - note some oddballs dont always have sound but most do I had one without sound and had to get the optical extension instead)

This was a great solution to having to buy yet another length of expensive HDMI cable. I did not notice any degredation of signal or
picture/sound quality and would recommend the product.

got the connector, hooked it up to extend my hdmi cable to another, and there was no signal going to the tv. checked it without the connector and worked fine.

I purchased two, but one has already failed. Buy more than one so that you have backups in case this happens to you.

Cheap and works great since I had a lot of hdmi cable I didnt want to buy another one that was longer and this was just what I needed.

What a couple of couplers. These couples have made my HDMI cable longer and that's a good thing. Sturdy plastic housing and quality internals. I took one apart to see the insides. Yeah that's right I took one for the team to make sure YOU the american consumer is being taken care of correctly. :)

I was skeptical about spending so little on this item. Prices are all over the board for an adapter of this type. I figured for a few bucks this was worth the risk. Well - it works perfectly. Cable's snap in tight and saved me the money of having to buy a whole new cable when all i needed was an extra few feet.

It's a Female to Female HDMI coupler after all. Not much to it. I am very curious to know if this received any type of QA as mine didn't work out of the bag. The price was great, but now I would have gladly paid $20 at RadioShack for one that worked! I've started the return process and will update this depending on the actions of the seller. I don't know if this was just a rarity or if there's others out there that didn't work either.
