This is an excellent book on how young women should conduct themselves. Although it is geared towards younger single women, it is helpful to females of any age.

Some of the text is obviously written from the perspective of a different era, but much of it could have been written yesterday. More importantly, the Biblical principles found in this book are timeless. I highly recommend this book.

The author, John Angell James, must have had the best mother or grandmother in the world because his view of women is spot on!! Though written in the 1800s, the focus of each chapter is so relevant & contemporary. I believe if this book were to be read by women in churches across America, we would see a female "Great Awakening!" I have taught it at several ladies' retreats over the years & used it for ladies' Bible studies.

The most important book a female could ever read! Enough said.

Any true Christian woman that takes her role as a woman seriously, must read this book.
