Editorial Reviews

Review

"An easy-to-read and comprehensive specialist book for the general gynaecologist which clarifies myths and sheds light on the pitfalls of female genital pain management." (The Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, 2010)

From the Back Cover

Over 20 million women in the US alone suffer from dyspareunia - painful sex. Until recently this has been a silent condition women have suffered. But as expectations of a fulfilling sex life grow, women are increasingly asking why their experience doesn't match the hype. This is the first book that enables gynecologists, urologists and other physicians to diagnose, evaluate and manage dyspareunia. The ensemble of world-leading contributors makes this a truly pioneering event.

5.0 out of 5 stars Getting Smart about "Female Problems", June 8, 2009
This review is from: Female Sexual Pain Disorders: Evaluation and Management (Hardcover)
Female sexual pain disorders are just now getting research attention. Believe it or not, this is the FIRST book on the topic, as far as I know. As a psychologist and AASECT-certified sex therapist, I can recommend this book for it's comprehensive, scientific information about pain. It should help professionals treat women more knowledgeably - and should help women themselves find answers to intimate problems.
