Ms. Brower Fancher dares you to take a good, hard look at the prejudices you carry regarding women dating younger men - especially if you're on the dating market. She exposes the history, myths, misconceptions, and truths surrounding the phenomenon of the growing trend and leaves you realizing, "This could work for me!" I enjoyed the book for its insight and down-to-earth, real-life examples - even though I'm married (to a man who is a mere one month older than I). And if I weren't married, I would definitely enlarge the size of my dating prospects pool, as this book gives many compelling reasons to do so. An easy read, the book is filled with such entertaining logic as, "People will be attracted to whomever they please, and checking a birth certificate isn't going to factor into that process," and, "Dating no longer carries the weight of `is this person my lifetime Mr. Right?'" I thoroughly enjoyed "FAYM: The Trend that Changes the Rules" and would encourage you to pick it up - and perhaps read it with your younger boyfriend . . . or older girlfriend.
