Book Description

September 1998
Providing a fresh vision of the feminist movement, and steering it in a direction that will appeal to society at large, this book presents unique ideas about love and feminism. Practical and realistic, it point out self-help steps to becoming more loving. It offers concrete ways to prevent the personal and social causes of human destructiveness.

Our world can be transformed by acts of love that work to eliminate all forms of domination and actualize respect, liberty, equality, and justice for all men and women.

Editorial Reviews

Review

"This book may pioneer another wave of Feminism. Dr. Whitney's book suggests that in the next phase, Feminism will be not just a political movement but a spiritual one as well. Feminism will call for an expanded consciousness based on love. It will draw a wider circle. It will challenge polarizing behavior and look for ways to connect. It is a Feminism that not only will work to right wrongs, but will strive to heal at the core." Diane Mason, Founder and Publisher of HERS newspaper -- Publisher Comments
