About the Author

Marianne A. Ferber is a professor emerita of economics and women's studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Julie A. Nelson is a senior research associate at the Global Development and Environment Institute of Tufts University and the author of Feminism, Objectivity, and Economics. Both are associate editors of the journal Feminist Economics.
