In light of airport security reducing the amount of liquids and gels allowed, this gem of an invention should make a return to the shelves. It doesn't fall into either category and women who really need to take make up on the plane would do well to consider the cake mascara.

I used to use this in the 70s but had a hard search this year trying to find any company that makes mascara in this form. Thank goodness for La Femme! I bought the brown and black and know it will last me a nice long time. I use a an eyelash curler and the combination of that with the cake brush, it makes for lovely long, unclogged lashes.

I USED to love this mascara. It gave me totally separated and long lashes, very natural looking. The brush was key. NOTE: THEY CHANGED THE BRUSH!!! Now they include two brushes that are nothing like the little toothbrush-like one that is so wonderful. They now include 2 mascara spoolies, like you would get in a tube of liquid mascara. THIS DOES NOT WORK with cake mascara and I intend to return the item ASAP. What were they thinking???

Very happy to have found a cake mascara after all this time - it works just fine, and does not become contaminated as all my tube mascaras have done, on a regular basis- leading to sore eyes. Since using La Femme's product, no eye problems at all. Hurrah!
