Fender 2 Vintage Tweed Strap

Decent 2" guitar strap.
Here's my formula for getting a four star review.
Start at three stars.
-1 star for the color being off, not as pictured.
The light color in the tweed is BRIGHT yellow.
The leather ends are almost orange.
I put this on my Candy Apple Fender Stratocaster and feel like I should be playing lead for Ronald & The McDonaldland Band.
+1 star for being long enough. I'm 6'2", 250lbs, most econo-straps end up being way too short for me. No problem here.
+1 star value for the money. The Fender tweed straps are tough and last forever (this isn't my first) and usually look very classy. A good choice for the budget minded guitarist.

This guitar strap seems to be of good quality, but as other reviewers have noted, the color is not what I expected. It is diagonally striped yellow gold and tan, and the leather ends are nearly orange. It's actually frighteningly ugly and looks most like a bad necktie from the early 70's

This is a great looking strap for an acoustic or electric.

Things to note:
- The patern is actually alternating diagonal stipes of a rust brown and yellow tweed colors
- The strap ends look like cheap leather, unfortunately, but have not affected the finish of my guitar which is important
- Since this is a fabric strap, it will bind on your clothing when trying to adjust shoulder placement or guitar angle on the fly

The strap is nothing like I expected. I don't know if it comes in different colors but the one I got is a bright mustard yellow and the pattern is diagonal stripes, not anything resembling a tweed. Luckily I just needed a lightweight strap for a travel guitar. I wouldn't be caught dead on stage with this.

I had just bought my new baby (guitar) and of course, being so smitten about it, i was being so careful as to not hurt it in anyway. I put on the strap and as soon as i started playing, the strap gives out and my guitar falls!!!! Arghhhhh its ok, but i threw out the strap, So no good!

The one I received was more yellow than the brown tweed pictured online. I was a bit disappointed as it was not the color I expected.

This strap has replaced an old lighning bolt patterned guitar strap and really looks cool. It shows off my Jazzmaster sunburst finish and has a classy retro-cool look.

While it's not as sturdy as a Reunion Blues strap or something else significantly more expensive, it definitely does the job and looks cool, too. It's on the yellow side but that's what's expected for Fender Tweed. I like it and it looks good with my sunburst 335 style guitar.

Nice cloth strap, made in Canada. Ends are leather and look a little fake, but seem of okay quality. Minus 1 star for the black plastic adjustment clasp instead of opting for metal or brass like the ends. Standard Fender vintage tweed color. By this statement I mean yellow tweed. Those surprised by its color are not familiar with the Fender tweed line. If you are not sure if you would like this strap, go into any Fender amp dealer and look at their tweed Deluxe amps or the tweend guitar case. I knew what to expect. If anything, it is less yellow than I expected. Would look very nice with Sunburst or Chocolate guitars.

After reading the reviews for this strap, I wasn't expecting much....and to be honest, I prefer a nice vintage leather strap on my Hofner bass anyway.
For the brief period of time that I had this on my bass, I was surprised by how many compliments I got on the strap.
I now keep it as a back up in my gig bag, but for the price it's pretty cool.
