I know nothing about guitar accessories. I wanted to get a friend of mine something for his birthday and he plays guitar. I found out that Fender is an excellent brand and I bought the stand for him when I realised that his guitar is normally in a corner in the house. He loves the stand. It is lightweight, easy to carry and he can fit it into the guitar bag and take with him when he is travelling. It does not take up much space. Now he is telling me that the stand looks so good it makes his guitar look cheap and I should get him a Fender guitar to match!!!!!

Great stand for holding my Classical Guitar. Small but steady footprint. Solid construction, soft pads and folds easily away.

The stand is strong, easy to open/close and it's construction is first class. Best stand I've ever owned....

When I bought this, I wanted something that was really scratch proof. This is it! The top quality soft rubber won't rot or stick to your guitar and even the struts that the molded rubber is on has rubber end caps. it opens very wide and I have never knocked it over and I have a stand and guitar next to my sofa 24/7. It also has a knob to lock it in place and it folds down small and fits in a black bag with a 'Fender' logo on it. I now own four of them. Go for it!

I also owned another type of guitar stand which has a neck. I found this little stand is more stable and takes less space than the other one. Besides, it is really portable.

Just because a name is attached to something doesnt always mean that its quality and construction are worth your hard earned money, in this case, it does. Fender has managed to make an extremely durable and high quality acoustic guitar stand thats only gonna set you back about 13 bucks. If your looking for an acoustic guitar stand, look no further. I have a small guitar the Cordoba Requinto 1/2 Size Classical Guitar that I love. This is a very nice compact stand that keeps my guitar up off the floor with no worry about falling over or scratching. This guitar stand folds up small so you can bring it with you when you travel. I'm very happy with it and would say for this quality of product with such a reasonable price no guitar needs to be left on the floor. Happy playing!

I feel that it leans back slightly too much for 5 stars, but it is quite compact and portable with no screws to worry about. I enjoy the stand and it has shown to be useful for me.

I've owned one of these for about a year and a half, and frankly wish someone had warned me off before I bought it. It's decently constructed and has held up ok, but it's inherently less stable than a full sized one. The biggest problem I have is that my guitar strap frequenty hangs up on it, knocks it over etc. When I'm trying to switch instruments quickly it's a bummer. And, not surprizingly, it doesn't work with my banjo at all. I've not had the guitar knocked over yet, but I'm always a bit nervous that it will be. You are better off with a full sized stand, even if, like me, the small size and portability are what attracted you.
