This bass amp is loud and sounds great.

Great sound in small compact size, provides enough power for personal use, practice at home etc., not for larger rooms and performances.

I've just began learning bass guitar and using a cord with this amp has been pretty great with me.

This is a good amp for the price, I picked it ip at my local shop for $83. The other reviewers as well as me agree the amp is good for a beginner or practice amp. My P Bass Special sounds pretty good through it with both the split and jazz pickup. I am a novice bass player and I notice the treble adjustment is a bit picky and can get buzzy, but that is to be expected with this type amp.

I have used a wah pedal with the amp and it sounds very good with the bass EQ at 3/4 and the MID EQ slightly past half way. I have played some basic funk and jazz through it and so far so good. The amp is loud enough for bedroom and apartment use and will not let you down as most Fender products never do. I compared this to a Hartke and Behringer amps at this low price point and liked the Rumble the best. The shop guy suggested it also as he said it had the best speaker quality of the bunch. I will continue to experiment with pedals and effects with the amp until I am good enough with the bass to buy a more serious amp and keep this one for practice.

I plugged in my Epiphone Les Paul into the amp and it sounded okay after some configuring with the EQ's. I put this amp next to the little Fender Frontman 10G I use for practice and use it heavily.

This is a great little amp for people looking for that Fender tone in something that won't make your windows rattle. If you just want to mess around on the bass or practice by yourself, it works very well. The sound is good, and it has a nice equalization section as well as a headphone jack and aux port. I would also recommend it for someone just starting out on the bass who wants to wade in and not spend a ton of money on a vintage tube amp.

If you're looking to play in a band over drums, this little guy isn't for you. It's not loud enough for that, and is not really meant for that purpose. It's just an 8 inch speaker and it's not going to be able to push enough air to make your bass loud enough. The higher wattage models in the Rumble series would work well for that though and in fact I use a Peavey Max 112 for playing in that kind of situation.

Thing thing isn't meant to be used for live gigs -- it's a practice amp and nothing more. When you don't want to drag around your giant cabinets or high-end gear, it works perfect. It's loud enough to bother the neighbors in an apartment or condo, and so far it's performing great.

As others have mentioned, you can run a 1/8" -> RCA cable and plug in an iPod / iPhone / whatever and play along with it. As a note, the 'volume' control when running a line in only impacts your bass volume. The volume on your media player is the only way to adjust the music volume. That being said, it works decent as an over-sized iPod speaker, though the tone is a big weak on the treble-side, which is to be expected.

I blew the first one I bought within a week. Amazon shipped me another as soon as I made a request. Sound is fine, it's low on features, though that is to be expected with a $100 amp. It does have some power, you could use it for practice and even possibly performance, depending on how loud the rest of the band is.

I purchased this item for a Christmas gift and didn't really know anything about amps so I read some of the reviews and decided to purchase the Fender Rumble 15 Bass Amp. As always, I received excellent service from Amazon. Exactly what I ordered and the person that received the gift loved it. Works great and was just what they wanted.

I use the Rumble every day am really satisfied with the sound. Use it in a small room and would not recommend for anything else than practice but for that price, it is just great.

This is a great amp to go with my son's first bass. It should last him for several years and beyond.

It is more than expected for the size. Son hasn't had volume up more than half, definitely puts out the sound and good quality. Also, even after shipping it was still cheaper than local music store which I think is a plus too.
