I give this 4/5 stars because the description is incorrect.
It is a great guitar for a beginner, but it DOES NOT include an instructional DVD or a Gig Bag (as the description states).
If those had been included, I would have gotten 5 stars.
Great Tone, Great Features, Fender online guitar training rocks (so you really don't need the dvd). Good Buy for the price, just make sure you buy a gig bag too.

I had been thinking about playing the guitar for many years but had never acted on it. While surfing Amazon on my new laptop I saw the deals on the guitar packages and I made my move. I picked a name that I knew and a style that I liked and it all came together in this great package. I consulted with friends of mine who do play and they all agreed that this was a great deal. I had a small issue with not receiving all of the items that were shown to be included with this package, but Amazon and Fender came through eventually and I got them all. It is a simple instrument with a good sound. The DVD is very easy to follow and I plan on purchasing the full length version offered on Amazon. I still consider myself a rank amateur at playing but I'm enjoying learning more every time I pick it up and tune into my DVD. I would strongly recommend that anyone wishing to start out on electric guitar take a strong look at this item.

I got this pack at a local Best Buy for about $140 on clearance, and it is a great BEGINNER pack. Just for getting a feel of a guitar and how it works, this pack was the best purchase I could have made.

I have an accoustic I learned on (best way to learn!!) and this guitar is soooooooo easy to play compared to it. Amp is nice, has some backround noise from the ground plug. Decent Strings, decent Strap. Overall this is a GREAT package value for thr price. I had mine tuned and playing metalica (enter sandman) with in 20 min of opening it. Enjoy!!

Bought this for my college student and she fell in love with it. A real Fender at an affordable price with Fender quality. Delivery was quick and the item was packed well.

I have played acoustic on and off for the past 4 years, and I have always wanted to get an electric guitar to play around with. At the price listed, it is an excellent starter electric guitar. The amp was a lot louder than I thought when I read the reviews, so that is a plus. The guitar itself is put together quite well, and for my intents and purposes, works great. However, I always recommend starting with an acoustic before moving up to electric. If you are considering buying this guitar and it's the amount that you want to spend, go for it.

I have had this guitar for 3 years and it has not let me down! If you do buy this though, i would recommend a new amp as well but it is not necessary because the one it comes with sounds great!

first of all i love this product. I would highly recommend this guitar for anyone that wants a quality Guitar. you know theres alot of picky ppl out there that might say that this isn't a good guitar, but it is. Ohhh Trust me it ISS!!! XD this guitar is well built and it has an amazing quality of sound so BUY THIS if Ur looking for A QUALITY GUITAR BY Fender... =D its got Everything u'll need and want for a low price.

Great service , came on time in excelent condition , Only bad point was it needs a bigger amp but for the price you can't beat it.

The strings were rusty and needed replaceing. The neck was bent. The amp hums and has static if turned up loud. It took three weeks to get it and there was no way listed to contact the seller to ckeck the status of the order.
