5.0 out of 5 stars Great insight from a knowledgeable source
I found this book to be stimulating in relation to our daily enviroments and the people who inhabit them. Miss Wydras insight relating to the perceptions that influence and affect our relationships and how we view these in light of our habitat is enlightening. 1.0 out of 5 stars an amazing waste of time
If it were possible to give this book 0 stars, that is what it would get. Where in the world does the author pick up her info? It is clear that she has very little to say about feng shui that is remotely authentic. Too bad for the Americans who don't know our Chinese tradition that they fall for such nonsense like this book. Maybe the author will someday learn feng shui,...

I found this book to be stimulating in relation to our daily enviroments and the people who inhabit them. Miss Wydras insight relating to the perceptions that influence and affect our relationships and how we view these in light of our habitat is enlightening. The principles set fourth are easily acclimated and when put into practice the results can be most gratifying. Many of the awareness tests proved to be most revealing, as well as alot of fun. The power of perception is portrayed as a force that can and should be manipulated to positivly enhance our relationships as well as our sense of harmony in our enviroments. I would recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in Feng Shui

I don't have a background in Feng Shui but I've read many relationship books, and this one offers a fresh and interesting approach to evaluate where you're at and where you'd like to go, as well as novel ways to gain insight into those who interest you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Groundbreaking feng shui information, October 20, 1998
By A Customer
An amazing book. You may like it because of its information about relationships and how to attract the ones you want. Don't be surprised if bells go off in your head when you read it. But this book has much more. For those interested in feng shui, the ideas underlying the relationship analysis are new and groundbreaking in the field. The author digs deeply to uncover the real meanings of things we live with every day. Easily one of the the three best feng shui books in print.

This review is from: Feng Shui and How to Look Before You Love (Paperback)
If it were possible to give this book 0 stars, that is what it would get. Where in the world does the author pick up her info? It is clear that she has very little to say about feng shui that is remotely authentic. Too bad for the Americans who don't know our Chinese tradition that they fall for such nonsense like this book. Maybe the author will someday learn feng shui, since she poses as an authority. Her book reminds one of the old Chinese slang term for a con-artist, i.e., fengshui professor. Just pity the trees whose wood goes to make the paper on which this nonsense is printed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally!, January 27, 2004

This review is from: Feng Shui and How to Look Before You Love (Paperback)
Ms. Wydra's logical and heartfelt respect for this fascinating Asian esoteric practice is inspiring. Her melding of East and West, old and new is to be commended. She truly has created a wonderful platform for ancient feng shui to be used in the Western world. Her intention to share is sincere and her knowledge, so educational. She explains why to the questions I know I had along the way, which for me is a crucial part to following any path. Bravo!

1.0 out of 5 stars Yet Another Feng Shui Book You DON'T Need, November 6, 1998
By A Customer
I am still trying to find feng shui content within the 200+ pages of this book. It just appears to be a poorly reasearched numerology book. I would caution any reader of this book to take its contents with a grain of salt. After reading this book, I found nothing of substance as it relates to feng shui or the person/place connection. However, the author has the potential to write, but maybe should consider a topic they are well versed at.

My sugestion to future feng shui reader of this book is to keep searching.
