The Fenix Accessory Kit is a valuable addition to Fenix Brand lights capable of receiving the attachments. It definitely increases the usefulness of the light, and maximizes its utility. I use my kit in conjunction with the Fenix LD22 XP-G R5 190 Lumen LED Flashlight Combo - Includes 4 x AA Duracell Batteries and I could not be more pleased with the purchase. The kit is comprised of 4 pieces; a red filter adapter, diffuser lens, diffuser tip, and traffic wand. Unfortunately the kit does not come with any sort of carrying case, bag, holster, or any method to keep the pieces together once out of the package. Each piece has multiple uses which is in line with the lights they are designed for.

Traffic Wand- I think Fenix could have chosen a different name for this tool. I imagine most folks outside of public safety have very few aspirations of walking out in the street to direct traffic. But there are some other uses that I think are overlooked. The traffic wand makes a great signaling device for the hiker/backpacker. The weight is less than a typical chem light and can be used swinging the light and cone overhead or out to the front with a bootlace or 550 cord. This is a great and known visual indicator for potential rescuers. If used in this fashion, one must tape the cone in place to prevent separation of the cone from the light. This piece can also be used to project light into confined spaces. When looking into a small space, it is often difficult to get the light into the area to be viewed. The tip of the traffic cone tapers to about the size of a pencil eraser. This might be an aid for engine examination, or any other time one would need to get some light in a tight spot.

I like this kit a lot. I was a little put off by the negative reviews, but once I tried it at home, I am very happy with it.

The light fits PD and LD series Fenix lights. In fact, they only mention PD30 on the box, but I tried it also with PD20. PD20 has rough texture on the head/bezel, which makes it harder to put these on. The LDs and PD30 have smooth heads and these accessories slip on much easier.

People have complained about difficulties putting on the diffuser. Here is the trick: first, open the flap/lid, and then put it on the light. It is much easier to stretch the holder clamp/ring when the lid is flipped off it. Otherwise it is very frustrating indeed. Once you put the diffuser on, flip the lid back on and there you go. It is actually easy to do.

That said, the diffuser appears less useful than the other toys in this set. It does not widen much the overall circle of light, just makes the hot spot in the middle disappear. It is easy to flip its lid on/off so you could just keep it on the light and play with it to determine if you like it. However, I feel that the diffuser is very cheaply made and will easily break, it just feels flimsy. Also, since it is made of translucent plastic, its edges also light up which can be distracting or annoying. With the diffuser off, there is no glowing ring around the head of the light - the beam just goes where you point it to.

The white tip is great for turning the light into a lantern. Great for camping or lighting a room when power is out. I think the white tip is much more useful than the diffuser and I expect it will turn out over time to be the most useful of these tools. I have been thinking of getting a good camping lantern lately, and this tool solves the problem at a fraction of the cost.

The red filter, cone-shaped white diffuser tip, and orange "traffic wand" fit the Fenix LD10 and LD20 perfectly. The inside diameter of those three pieces are approximately 22 mm. The red filter is great for nighttime astronomy. The white cone tip is approximately 3.25 inches in length and is useful for camping, looking inside a computer case, or car inspection under the hood. The orange "traffic wand" cone is approximately 6 inches in length and looks like a light saber when lit up and looks really cool.

As others have mentioned, the white diffuser lens (looks like a circular tennis racket) requires some force to fit. The inside diameter of the diffuser lens is about 18 mm, which is smaller than the diameter of the LD10/LD20 flashlight. I have uploaded a picture of the diffuser lens to show how the plastic body of the diffuser lens must be stretched open to fit around the LD20 flashlight. I don't know if this is by design or a mistake. When shining against a wall, there is a noticeable ring caused by the lid of the diffuser lens.

This product was described as LD/PD Series accessory kit. Although it fits some of the LD series, it does not fit the LD40.

ATTENTION! this will fit all LD and PD series except for the PD31 which is just a tad bigger than the PD30. also the diffuser is transparent, not white. Other than that these are great addons for your flashlight. the orange cone is nice if you have to direct traffic. By the way the customer support is outstanding!

Good design all around. The traffic safey cone and cone diffuser are pretty good. Hoever the major drawbacks to this product is the quality of the plastic. It is too brittle. Because it is so brittle it will crack and you do not get a good seal at the rear of the filters. Especially for the red filer. There is alot of white light spash back at the rear of it.
