I received my TK15 yesterday. Like all Fenix lights this one is of excellent quality. With the turbo level at 337 lumens it's super bright. It has a nice solid feel in your hand. The clip is nice and strong. I love the push button on the side that changes the brightness levels from low-med-high and turbo. If it's held down for a second it goes to strobe. The strobe changes speed automatically. Back and forth between the two speeds. Very disorientating. The only thing that bothers me is that there is a sizable shadow spot in the center of the hot-spot. Not a big deal I guess. I'm a bit picky. I'm one of those people that has to have everything straight or uniform. I still gave it five stars because it is of excellent quality, super bright for it's size and the functioning is really first class.

The Fenix TK15 is remarkably bright for its size, is very well made, and has good battery life. Unlike the other 2 reviewers (so far), I see absolutely no dark center spot or "rings" at any light level or viewing distance. Perhaps there is unit-to-unit variation, but mine has a perfect beam with no anomalies. My only negative is that the rear power button protrudes past its scalloped surround, so it will not stand on its tail. Not cheap, but worth the money if you need this much brightness in such a small form-factor.

OMG...being a surefire guy for the longest time I thought I'd try the Fenix flashlight as I had heard they were a bargain for the price.
Well, let me tell you that this light blows the surefire out of the water, I almost blinded my wife the first time I showed her. The quality of the light is top notch and the brightness is totally unbelievable. Our cat got out the other night and while using it to search for him around our hood I must have woken up 4 neighbors with the light this thing kicks out. My neighbors thought it was a spotlight not a small hand held flashlight.
Would I recommend this to others, you bet your butt I would.

before i purchased it, i had never actually held a fenix... so i went out on a limb and based my puchase of this flashlight solely on amazon and youtube reviews. lets start with quality. this is an excellent quality item. the construction is solid. the battery does not shake around inside like cheaper flashlights. also, this flashlight is BRIGHT!!! on the lowest lumen setting, (which i keep it on) it will easily light up a room. in a dark house, i can turn this thing on and it will light up whatever i shine it on. if you increase the lumens, it becomes almost amazingly bright. i stood in a field a couple weeks ago and shined this thing at the trees on the edge. they were at least 150 yards away and on the full setting, this light was like a search a rescue light. i am very happy to have the higher settings but like i said, for general use, i use the lowest and it meets most of my needs.

now onto the reason this flashlight didn't get 5 stars. when i was reading reviews on this light someone else noted that the back button sticks out further than the pieces that surround the button, making it impossible to stand this flashlight on its butt at first i didn't think i would care about this, but now that i have had it and used it for a few months, i can say that there was at least one time when i wanted to stand it on its butt and couldn't. its bizarre that they would design it this way and the only reason i can think of is to make the on/off button as accessible as possible when you are in a pinch and need your light turned on right away. the second bad thing i have found is that the button that transitions between settings is smooth. it is actually the same feel as the surrounding surface.

I got the Fenix T15 for my father for X-Mas.The look in face when he turn it on and saw how bright it was.He likes my Olight M20.But like old school,he prefers the side switch to be upper not like my Olight M20 at the tail end.I also got the rechargable 18650 sets for him.with 337 lumens compare to my Olight M20 with 320 lumens.I Can tell the difference. But the Fenix TK15 got those rings that I don't really particarly like it ,only due to the smooth reflector lense.I got both of them in my collection of Tac-Lights.Its all about your personal preferences.I give it 3 stars for the rings and off/on tail switch that don't work anymore. In my own opinion The Fenix TK15 is more of Spot-light because it throws a straight beam of light. While the Olight M20s is more of a flood light. For user friendly and a true Tactical Flashlight I'd go for the Olight M20S warrior.Sorry, but thats my opinion. Will,I hate to say,but after 2 months, off/on tail switch was'nt working. It clicks but it does'nt turn on the light. The only way keep the light on is to press tail switch.bummer.for $79.99 I thought it would last.Thats one Fenix need to improve on the off/on tail Swith.

This light just paid for itself.
The strobe feature found on this and others like it produced an invaluable effect.
My daughter had a blow out on the down side of a hill. This happened on interstate 244 east bound side near Tulsa. This area is plagued with road construction and heavy traffic.
The shoulders are narrow and hazardous to park on let alone change a tire on the drivers side.
This happened during rush hour and was extremely dangerous compounded by being on the back side of a hill top. I arrived in an H2 Hummer with a jack she needed to make the repairs. I parked 50 feet behind her and turned on my hazard lamps to hopefully draw attention to this situation. As I looked up the hill top 3/4 of a mile away. I could not help but note that virtually no relief was being enjoined by my hazard flashers. Cars and 18 wheelers alike were blowing past us just inches away. Needless to say this was a most uncomfortable situation for us. My 3 year old grandson was in her car.I was hoping a trooper would come by to aid in the support of this repair. I started to call one for help.
Then it came to me. I had my light with the strobe feature on it. I turned it on and placed it on my back bumper facing on coming traffic. In no time at all. The cars started to slow down and get over into the far lane. This was just what we needed to reduce the danger level to make the repairs. I was amazed by this effect. Finished the repair and was ready to send her on ahead. Then comes the trying to get back into traffic problem. If you have ever been on the side of the highway like this you already know how hard is to get back into the driving lane. I turned on the strobe again and shined it back up the hill. Once again it cleared the way to safely get back in the driving lane.
