Fenix bike mount is awesome. Amazon specs are wrong. This is from Fenix's webpage. "Adjustable grip accomodates various handlebar and flashlight sizes(18-26mm). " I use it with my pd-31 which has a 24mm diameter and there is still room to fit a bigger diameter flashlight. It has rubber pads where you secure the handlebar and the flashlight so it won't rattle or vibrate. You don't need a screwdriver for assembly. The knobs are big enough for hand tightening and loosening. It holds the light very firmly and the top actually rotates like a turret so you can point it in any direction. I hit rough trails on my mountain bike and i am never worried about my light with this mount. Great product for a great price.

I like the idea of this mount, and it does hold my flashlight in place. But the section that attaches the mount to my handlebars is about to strip (I've only used it for a few months, and carefully since it's made of plastic) and so I can't tighten it any further. This means I have to keep tapping the holder/flashlight back in place because it slips into an upward rotation into my eyes many times throughout the ride. I will try to get a piece of rubber to create more tension and extend the life a bit more, but disappointing.

I bought one of these last year and used it on my recumbent trike. Worked fine, no problems. I purchased a second one for another bike and this one is (or at least was) a piece of junk. my first long ride it fell apart and destroyed my $65 Fenix flashlight. I won't be buying another. Company's are just getting cheaper and cheaper.

As others have mentioned it wobbles and rattles a bit at the swivel joint with no way to clamp it down. That's why only three stars. The way I solved this was to move it to the desired detent position, take a rubber-band approximately 5mm wide by 1mm thick and stretch it as much as possible so it is very thin, and, while stretched, pull it into the loose joint all the way around, then trim it off. This makes a very soli and quiet joint. Of course if you want to swivel it to a different detent position, you will have to do this all over again.

For those worried about on-bike security, the thumb screws can be replaced with hex socket bolts.

Using this with a Fenix Ld22. My bar is the narrowest and the mount still holds great, even with high speeds on rough roads and jarring/vibration. It doesn't move even though you leave it slightly loose so you can revolve it down by hand if you feel called to be courteous. Plus it looks very cool, no doubt. The problem arises if you wish to remove light from mount (but leave mount on bar for convenience) during daylight rides. On slim aa lights like mine you need the extra rubber shim they supply and while it holds the light fine it is likely to fall off and be lost when no light is in the mount. It sits at the top of the hole and is held in place with a minimalalist peg in hole arrangement. Glueing it would preclude the use of larger lights, but one may have to resort to that. I find this a very, very large downside and think Fenix could/should produce a mount that will tighten down more without need for fillers, especialy since they make such an excellent bike light in the slim ld22. The second problem is that detachment of the light from the mount (necessary to avoid theft)is kind of clunky and a quick detachment feature would be worth paying extra for imo. Only quick detach I've found is a cheapie from dealextreme (see youtube) which I will try next. Undoubtedly not as nice as this Fenix mount in some respects but maybe with some glue, jury rigging. Sigh. The 2 watt Blaze that Amazon sells may work if you put tape under the mount for narrower bars to tighten but it's not as bright as an l22. For me attaining a good setup that will excel on eneloops is worth pursueing. Apparently this is not the bike industry's interest.

It is a bit tedious because it attaches to the bike and to the flashlight with long screws but that's not too big of a deal. The plastic is very rugged and it also comes with two rubber pads that either facilitate smaller bodied lights or fit normal bigger lights. I use this product with a Fenix LD10 with the two rubber pads whenever I go out riding at night. The swivel head clicks into each position and gives a complete 360 degree spin. Wonderful product and highly recommended!

I use this mount with my Ultrafire XML-T6 (w-878). Which is one of the brightest lights I ve seen out there for it's size!

The Fenix Bike Mount works well and holds a bright LED flashlight. In fact, I had several 200 lumen "Rocky" brand flashlights I bought at Sam's Club. These flashlight are 28 mm in diameter and fit the mount well. The only reason for three stars is that the mount tends to rattle in the swivel point when riding over bumpy roads. The sound is annoying. I have not tried to find a way to make it quiet.
