I haven't yet used this in a "need to use" application. I have only been fiddling around with it so far. The tape switch seems pretty solid. The light activates whenever the tape is depressed. The switch is made from silicon and when depressed, has a solid click to it no matter where it is depressed. The cap also has a mechanical switch that overrides the tape switch when it is activated. I thought the coil was going to be saggy, but it stays coiled and keeps the length of the cable at a minimum. For the price, purchasing it was a no brainer. Although this may see some weapon applications, I am looking to also use it for bike applications. I am thinking about mounting it on the grips in the area where my fingertips naturally lie.

Great product, it works as designed with my Fenix PD35 I would definitely recommend this product to everyone. Just make sure it's compatible with your flashlight. A pressure switch can save you valuable seconds in identifying and blinding an intruder. Take every advantage you can get it can save your life and your family's.

Works great, switches on the pad are a little finicky, the regular switch is great. It's very nice to have 2 different on/off switches with the remote. I'll see if it holds up but it's good for now.

This does work on my TK21 even though it isn't listed as being compatible. It has to be screwed in very tight, but it does work

Well made remote switch. Got this for the Fenix PD35 light even though the descriptions for this switch does not mention the compatibility with the PD35. Works just fine. Momentary on/off switch pad (approx 2"L x 5/8"W x1/4"H) on a sturdy coiled cable (approx 10" retracted) and a regular on/off switch on the cap are provided.

I originally bought this for use with a Fenix flashlight mounted on my shotgun with the 5598 NEBO PROTEC Universal Long Gun Light Mount, and it works well for that. However, I stopped using this remote switch for a couple of reasons:
1) It should have come with some way to mount it. I recommend using 3M's Command tape, which grips well and releases cleanly.
2) This remote switch takes a firm press to activate, and I find that distracting.
3) Fenix flashlights already have a momentary-on feature to their tailcap switches. By mounting my Fenix light slightly off center, I am able to touch my light's tailcap when my hand is on properly positioned on the forend. This gives me both momentary and full-on light without having to worry about the cord getting in the way or not having depressed the switch firmly enough.

If you need a remote switch for your Fenix light, this works exactly as advertised.

Well made, solid, my opinion? They could have charged like $30 for the thing and I would have still bought it. Really nice set up for an AR15. An additional nice feature is end cap has its own on off button for continuious use, unlike others I have bought. That's a really nice feature.

I have two of these, and I'm on my second unit with both of them. Unit A was dead on arrival, and had to be replaced. Unit B failed after attaching it to a PD35 and carefully mounting it on a shotgun. Apparently the strain relief on the cable jacket is poor to non-existent because even the minor twists and tugs from securing it to a shotgun were enough to kill it. I'm not sure it would be possible to change the batteries if the coiled part of the cable were properly secured with zip ties, because the resulting twist in the straight part of the cable would probably kill the switch. Again.

NOT for use in a mission-critical application -- the only reason this is staying on the shotgun is that it's for occasional coyote hunting rather than defensive use. Even then I'm keeping the original PD35 tailcap in my hunting vest.

Works great, but as other have complained, there is no default way to secure this to any firearm which is extremely annoying. I decided to use velcro straps and they seem to work fine, but it's rather annoying they didn't include something to secure this to the firearm.

Besides that complaint, it works and works well. Mine has not fallen apart or broke (yet) as others have complained about as well. I've yet to have a need to use this in any sort of "real world" scenario because I am not a soldier of any sort, but for the price (because I already have a Fenix compatible flashlight) I thought it was a no-brainer and a good buy overall.

I have it strapped to the vertical grip on my S&W M&P 15 rifle. Overall I am happy with it.
