Get the regular CD,

There was no point in making an edited version for this CD. The regular version has 1 swear word on the whole CD and there is nothing wrong with it. Get that CD it is much better. There is no point in having an Explicit Lyrics sticker on the regular version of the Fenix TX CD. Get that and no the clean version.

It makes me mosh and jump around in my room!,

I was led to this CD via the Blink 182 site and I downloaded a couple of samples! Bloody hell! I bought the CD straight away and I haven't been disappointed. If you love surf/skate music with that beautiful electric guitar noise that makes you mosh, you'll LOVE this CD!

Maybe I heard the clean version but it dosen't seem like it should be, what is so bad about it? They are a great band and I would strongly recomend getting the CD!

Fenix TX - The First Album,
By Rob (Oxford) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Fenix*Tx (Clean Version) (Audio CD)
Firstly, almost all of the reviews i have read have talked more about Blink 182 then of Fenix TX. So just to get this out of the way, if you like Blink 182 then you'll almost certainly like Fenix TX. This doesn't mean that the two bands are so similar that it isn't worth buying both. I have all Blink 182 albums and i think that it was definitely worth buying Fenix TX. Fenix TX is a pop-punk band. There are a variety of songs on the album, from the two radio-friendly singles "Flight 601" and "All My Fault" to the fast-paced, heavy beats of "Minimum Wage". Personally, my favourite songs on the album, are "Ben", "Speechless" and "Apple Pie Cowboy Toothpaste". The great thing about this album is that it is brilliant to just leave playing. There are no bad or annoying songs which make you switch track, just pure good music from begining to end, with a touch of Blink 182 humour. This is a great album, with few bad points. I would have preferred more punk than pop on the album, but it is still definitely worth buying. Also check out Blink 182 and NOFX

Great Modern Punk Band...But Gets Old...,
By A Customer
This review is from: Fenix*Tx (Clean Version) (Audio CD)
Fenix TX, these guys are very cool, I got this CD cuz I was attracted to the Its All My Fault video. So then I got their CD, but I accidently got the edited version at Wal-Mart, at first the CD I thought was going to be my fav, until you listen to every song, what I mean is, well the singer has a great voice, but every song sounds the same and they really get old. Although I still listen to all my fault, they are a good and cool band over all, its just the fact that they sound the same and I'm not down with that. But for a punk or modern punk CD I am still giving them 5 stars cuz the songs still sound great. Get the CD if you like Blink 182, MXPX, or Hangnail, check out Hangnail, they are very awesome.

A new band with the same sound,
By
This review is from: Fenix*Tx (Clean Version) (Audio CD)
I am new to the punk scene, and frankly, I thought that these guys were the bomb . . . until I heard that all of the other bands sound exactly like them. Don't get me wrong, it is still a fun CD to listen to, but it isn't incredible. It has a lively sound, along with a few sad love song. I find myself singing lyrics to other songs that they don't belong to, just because they all sound alike. If you're looking for something you can jam to or drive around blasting so that everyone knows you are punk, this is the CD for you . . . but if you are already into punk, you've basically have the CD already.

Fenix TX are an awesome band,

This CD is awesome! Their new one is of course better musically but this CD shows glimpses of what is to come from these guys. Contrary to what a few people said, this album has plenty of variety, AND the singer's voice is great for their style. He can actually hold a note, too, unlike many punk bands. The only thing lacking on this CD is sound quality, but that's the record company's fault, so any comments of that nature from "fans" of the CD should think about that. This really is a great CD!

Nothing new,
By A Customer
This review is from: Fenix*Tx (Clean Version) (Audio CD)
Though I agree that this album is full of melodic pop punk and does lend itself to singing along with the lyrics, it is, nonetheless, nothing new. This album lacks something that other bands (like MxPx or Goldfinger) possess. If you are looking for something to catch your attention, this is not it. If you are looking for another CD to add to your collection, this is worth the money (just don't expect to be blown away.) I did enjoy the CD and I still continue to listen to it. It is a fun CD, just be aware that it is nothing special.
