This book is a revised edition with current collector values and new photographs and catalog reprints. It contains valuable facts and insight from Frank Fenton himself. This book looks in-depth at the regular line production of Fenton's major patterns over four decades. It is divided alphabetically into four major chapters covering the specific patterns - Coin Dot, Crests, Hobnail, and Spiral Optic. Each chapter is also divided into the various colors in which the pattern was produced. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

5.0 out of 5 stars In depth look at Fenton patterns over a 40 year period, June 29, 1999
This review is from: Fenton Art Glass Patterns, 1939-1980: Identification & Value Guide (Hardcover)
Gorgeous 336 page full color book of the major Fenton patterns made during the period. This volume obviously required a tremendous research effort to compile. Divided into 4 main chapters: Coin Dot, Crests, Hobnail, and Spiral Optic. Chapters are then divided into the colors produced. An interesting historical synopsis of the company's activities is presented for each of the years. Excellent, concise descriptions with full color very sharp photographs and estimated values makes the book a delight to use. A very useful identification and value guide for this highly collectible item.

This review is from: Fenton Art Glass Patterns, 1939-1980: Identification & Value Guide (Hardcover)
This book is extremely comprehensive and covers a large amount of the fenton shapes and lines made between 1939-1980. The prices have been updated for 2001 and I have found them to be very accurate. If you are interested in learning more about fenton and it's worth this is one book you should definitely purchase.
