Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

This lovely leatherbound volume is a real gem! It is filled with the kind of detailed Ferrari historical information that Ferrari enthusiasts adore. Find out all about each one of Ferraris fabulous GT berlinettas from the earliest 166 through the super-valuable 250GTOs and on to the F50GT.

From the Author

This a companion to our first book. FERRARI Fifty Years On The Track, in which we covered the history of Ferraris Sports and Sports-racing cars, i.e. those with even-numbered chassis. In this second volume, the authors have attempted to cover the story of the odd-numbered chassis, in essence the coupes and Berlinettas, which competed mainly (but not always) in the races set aside for the GT class. Ferrari has had a glorious history of racing GT cars. Here, in these pages, you will find the story of the Berlinettas and Coupes that, right from the start, have upheld Ferraris name in racing. We have brought the story right up to date with chapters on Michelottos involvement in these cars, starting with the 308GT and progressing right up to the F50GT. All of these automobiles are wonderful beasts for the road. We hope you will enjoy reading their story.
