2.0 out of 5 stars This video is not worth it!! Take it from a HUGE 288 GTO FAN, September 18, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Ferrari 288 Gto [VHS] (VHS Tape)
You see this video, and you get the impression you're going to see a lot of high speed driving, some burnouts, some track driving, etc. Sorry.....

What you really get is a lot of slow touring driving, in a dock area full of cranes, with weird porno music playing in the background. Anytime the car starts accelerating nice and hard, the camera changes the angle and you lose whatever little thrill there was.

There are a few decent parts in the video.......an interview with former Ferrari F1 driver, Michele Alboreto, was fascinating and informative (i learned a few things from it). They come back to him later in the show, after doing some donuts (reused frames......B.S. production!) and some fast country driving.

You get a lot of nice views of this car, but you can't capture the pure essence of it. If this video is anything to base the other videos in the series, don't waste your money. UNless you truly know nothing about the 288 GTO and are bored, don't get this video!
