Very nice quality, I was pleasantly surprised at just how nice it is in person.

One thing that you may not be aware of without seeing it in person is that the letter/numbers that represent the day/date in the center of the watch are very muted, so the watch maintains a nice black look in the center. It is very difficult to see the day/date in low lighting, and there is no glow/illumination option to see it in the dark. The day/date letters/numbers get brighter as the ambient light around the watch get lighter, but are never bright. While this does not bother me, it may bother some.

The arms on the watch do glow in the dark, but again, if you're in the dark for a while you will not be able to see the arms.

The crystal is super clear and the watch does have a very nice build quality overall.

My husband received this watch for Christmas. He really likes it. The only reason it doesn't have 5 stars is due to the difficulty to set the date. The instructions are poor in this area. Even a watch repair place, booth in a mall, was unable to set this feature. It is a good looking watch on which he gets compliments.

Great looking watch, but I've never seen worse instructions for setting the time, date, etc. Instructions written by an Italian illiterate who doesn't understand English. You have to be amazingly patient to set this thing, but once you get there you're ready for Rubic's Cube. Just don't have to set it again six months later because you will have forgotten the algorithm and will be pulling your hair out again. Other than that, it's terrific!

Its a stylish watch.. Ferrari made (of course) and burns a deep hole in the pocket.

Pros -
Looks great (grandiose).. feels heavy.. you get noticed (and earn nice compliments too)..
Has decent basic day-to-day features like alarm, chronograph, timer, second city/world time option, etc.

Cons -
1. For a watch that has fair digital bells and whistles, I wonder how difficult it is to incorporate an illumination/indiglo feature for the darker shades of the day.. Or are the people wearing this watch the kind who never step off the limelight ?
2. The glow from the hands of the watch does not last all that long... so after about an hour of dim light surrounding you, you have a heavy feeling in your hand from a object that is of no use, as you cant see anything to use it (unless you are super human and light glows from your eyes or elsewhere) .. Those are the times I get why someone said 'Money cant buy everything'..

If you find an alternative to this jewel that can also glow in the dark, do go for that one. But if style prevails over substance on your wish list, you've landed on the right satin cloth. The beautiful case and packaging will win you over ( and make you forget what you had to forgo to buy this one). A super gift for the guy in your life (pop, bro, granda, chum, mr right).. Only if it could last into the dark, it would tag along with you into the starry night..

UPDATE:
Con 3: (Just realized) No DST support for the World Time. Maranello, home of Ferrari follows Daylight Saving Time settings. So, why for the love of cognitive abilities in humans, would they not incorporate it in this World Time watch?
All the world times seem to match perfectly until you incorporate DST time in the watch for your city (T1). Once your country is set to DST, all the other cities in the world have to follow DST (Ferrari leaves them with no choice.. that answers my question from above).

I wish I could remove one star from my rating for this, but the damn thing looks so elegant that you could act as if you care less. Besides, who on Earth does not have a phone for those silly things like check the time at night or in a different city. This rock on your hand is just an accessory that happens to show time and do a faint bit more...

Before shipping a product to the customer someone should make sure the watch isn't defective. Very disappointing. Hopefully the next watch will work.
