5.0 out of 5 stars Try these little hotties
Ferrara Pan Candy Company is the only Atomics I know and they have been around since the beginning of time. They are consistent in quality.

I buy around 200 each week for people a t work. Some people just live on these animals. Others just see how long they can suck on them before changing to the other side of the mouth. It looks like people are going around...

These are not the Atomic Fireballs I remember. It had been several years since I had seen them. I purchased these as a gift after searching locally with no luck. The day before my order arrived I saw some in a corner store. These were smaller than the Fireballs I remember of the early 90's. The Fireballs I ordered were of this smaller variety. I buy around 200 each week for people a t work. Some people just live on these animals. Others just see how long they can suck on them before changing to the other side of the mouth. It looks like people are going around with fat jaws. When the red coating wears off it seems that they just get hotter. And you can hear the tell tale sound of people crunching to get it over with. Then they come back for more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly addictive!, November 9, 2007

There are two sizes of Atomic fireballs, large and small. I personally prefer the smaller ones as I like to crunch them.

I also found these to be very helpful when I was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. I would have an awful metal taste in my mouth from the chemotherapy and these helped to chase metal mouth away long enough for me to eat something I liked.

I still put them in my pockets for when I go for infusion therapy. It helps to have something to occupy your time.

I love these! They are great when I want something sweet and they last 15-20 minutes each. At 35 calories each, that is great when I'm trying to lose weight! I buy these at Sam's Club for under $7 a container though. Right now, the Amazon price is over $18. WOW!

5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite childhood hard candy, February 6, 2009

What's not to like about Atomic Fireballs? With this package I know I've helped usher several members of the latest generation's teenagers into the world of incendiary candy. There's some inconsistency in the heat index among the supply. I'm sure that's to be expected. I don't recommend biting hard into these or you may well be visiting your orthodontist.

Good product and quick delivery although the shipping charges are almost as expensive as the product.

The day before my order arrived I saw some in a corner store. These were smaller than the Fireballs I remember of the early 90's. The Fireballs I ordered were of this smaller variety. They may have been this size for ten years or more. Since the purchase was a gift I can't comment of flavoring. The old Fireballs were the size of a big jaw breaker, these "new" ones are a hair bigger than a nickel gumball.

4.0 out of 5 stars Satisfied and recommend, January 26, 2012

Satisfied with product and it is what I expected. The only minor complaint I have is the jar they come in does not match the picture. Not a big deal to me at all but still somewhat misleading and deserves some deduction. Could be a big deal to others. They did come in a large, clear, open topped plastic jar but if someone was planning on displaying these in the pictured jar then they might be disappointed.

Love these babies. If you are a fireball ball lover like me, I recommend buying these in bulk. I purchased two. Good price and you get a ton of fireballs. They will irritate the taste buds a little on your tongue if you suck on too many of these things in a row or two often. LOL

While you get 200 large atomic fireballs, it does NOT come in the display jar pictured on the sales page. You get the clear plastic container which is the second customer-posted image. It is false advertising - the item description is Atomic Fireball JAR. So if you're looking for something to display, don't buy this.
