I bought this book when I adopted my first ferret. It provides a good guide to raise ferrets, including choosing a good kit, selection criteria, and details to be aware of. A guide for common ailments, and how to keep your pet in good health is most useful.

The anectodes about the author's personal experiences are nice, and illustrative of life with a ferret.

I could have used some more tips on things such as ferret-proofing a house, diet, etc. But overall I would recommend this book to anyone who would like to get a good overview on owning a ferret.
