This is the 1970 debut by Novos Baianos, one of the wildest, most creative bands to come in the wake of tropicalia pioneers Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil. Novos Baianos featured guitarists Moraes Moreira and Pepeu Gomes, along with singer Baby (Brasil) Consuelo... Long out of print, this debut on the RGE label showed them to be a potent creative team... Well worth checking out!
