Two years in a row I've purchased these seeds and both times they did not grow or only one or two seeds from the whole packet germinated. For the price, it's a waste of money. You'd have better luck saving your organic seeds from purchased produce and using that. The only thing that I've had luck with are the roma tomato seeds and holy basil. Carrots, lettuce, spinach (normally all easy growers) did not sprout.

I purchased Ferry-Morse seeds labeled as culinary tarragon. When the plants came up, I quickly saw that it was a junk weed that is a close relative of the culinary tarragon, but has no flavor other than an unpleasant weedy taste. I threw the whole mess out, and replanted with seed from a more reliable vendor.
Ferry- Morse never responded at all to my email complaint, and-- interestingly enough-- I couldn't find a phone number for them.
There are lots of honest and conscientious seed vendors out there. My advice is to buy your seeds from one of those vendors, and avoid Ferry-Morse seed.

I have grown all these seeds and was pleasantly surprised at the rate of germination. I have many storage containers in my freezer with the products of these wonderful plants. The plants produce so quickly and I do not want to waste any of it. Therefore, I have herbs in constant supply for my love of cooking.
