You will find the full story of how I came to develop a specialty in infertility counseling in the preface to my book. Suffice it to say that it has been my passion for over 30 years. Infertility is an intense mind/body experience and my training in mind/body therapy and clinical hypnotherapy has served to narrow the focus for infertility patients when it comes to getting relief from this ordeal.

More About the Author
Helen Adrienne has been a psychotherapist in private practice since 1979. Although a general therapist, she has specialized in working with OB-GYN referrals, particularly women and couples struggling with infertility. Helen is trained in mind/body therapy and clinical hypnotherapy and conducts mind/body stress reduction groups for women at NYU Fertility Center. (You can join even if you are not an NYU patient.) Helen is a charter member of NY City Resolve™ and has presented at many of their conferences. She also educates mental health professionals on the parameters of infertility at national and international conferences. She has authored many articles on infertility.
