Festa Italiana: Italian Songs and Dances collects joyous, upbeat performances by the likes of Francesco Basile, Salvatore Ida, Aiello and His Orchestra, and Domenico D'Agata, among others. This is a splendid selection for anyone who is looking for traditional Italian music AND enjoyable listening/dancing music - all in ONE CD. Of the 12 tracks, four are vocals.

Though not being a professional in music, this piece really caputured my attention, it has a special way to leave a lasting impression. I really, enjoyed the rhythm and flow of this piece of music. Beautiful dance number and very romantic. The steady beat, keeps the passions soaring.

This is marvellous, it brings the essential fun and vigour of Italy right into your home. I wish there were more like it. Italy is a land where life is passionately lived, and there is nothing faint hearted about this recording.
