This is a splendid selection for anyone who is looking for traditional Italian music AND enjoyable listening/dancing music - all in ONE CD. Of the 12 tracks, four are vocals.

Though not being a professional in music, this piece really caputured my attention, it has a special way to leave a lasting impression. I really, enjoyed the rhythm and flow of this piece of music. Beautiful dance number and very romantic. The steady beat, keeps the passions soaring.

This is marvellous, it brings the essential fun and vigour of Italy right into your home. I wish there were more like it. Italy is a land where life is passionately lived, and there is nothing faint hearted about this recording.

The music on this CD is great fun, and without the typical American rearranging(remixing,if you will). Quite authentic, however I would rather prefer to hear tarantellas and other dances without the vocals as the lyrics written for some of the music are a bit "silly" and outdated. I had the DJ at my daughter's wedding play a couple of the tarantellas, a mazurka and the quadrille from this CD and they were a definite "hit". Several of the guests asked for the dances to be played again and exclaimed how much fun they had dancing Italian.

The product was fine. It was the lack of customer service and mishandling of the order that disappointed me. I ordered the music in anticipation of receiving it by a certain date (which was clearly indicated). The order was placed on 4/1/10. It was to take no more than 4-5 days for shipping. By April 8th, the order was not received. I contacted customer service and was told that the order did not go out because one of the items was not available to ship. I was never told that the order would be held up for that. Had I been informed, I would have said to send the items separately. The customer service rep was very hard to understand and spoke with a heavy accent adding to the frustration. She said I could have the available items shipped priority but would be billed for expedited shipping. I told her to cancel the order. She then said she would check with her supervisor to see if they would waive the additional shipping charges. After being put on hold for quite a while, she came back on the line and said they would ship it out and waive the priorty shipping charge. I asked if I would have the available items by the morning of April 10th. That was my deadline to get the music. She promised I would have it the morning of April 10th. It was delivered mid afternoon on April 10th. After the event was over. I sincerely doubt that I will order this way again. Very disappointed in Amazon.
