Sweden's Best Kept Secret,

Tomas Ledin is Sweden's best kept secret. This CD reflects a successful and varied 30 year career, from Bob Dylan and Rod Stewart influences, through to 70s and 80s disco king and then on to the 90s when his career as a Swedish rock-pop legend was successfully resurrected. Most of his material is sung in his native language but do not be put off by this: the warmth and feeling in his voice will always win you over. Ledin is an expressive, warm and lively singer whose songwriting has always moved with the times. A long, productive and varied career is reflected in this CD set with too many good tracks to mention: suffice to say most of the tracks are great ,however I am disappointed that the track listing is not in chronological order, but that is a minor criticism only. Tomas Ledin is Sweden's best singer-songwriter of the last 30 years. Check out this collection, forget any prejudices about the Swedish language and enjoy the music.
