Everyone is in fine fettle indeed for this particular year's Fairport
reunion. The recording is top-notch. Speakers can't do it justice - ya
gotta listen with headphones to appreciate the sound here. I did not know Ashley could play rock bass lines like this, and the recording (did I say it was great?) exemplifies his playing. Also, Iain Matthews
is here singing crystal clear perfect lead on a few tunes. When you have RT and Ashley and Iain playing together, LOOK OUT!

As a collector of all things Fairport, I doubted that I needed yet another Cropredy reunion live recording - man, I'm happy I bought this one. It rocks. All the ex-Fairporters and current lineup play very well together, and, Richard T. is on fire on all the tracks he's on. As a bonus, he and Jerry Donahue both play on Sloth.
Again, WOW!

Vicki Clayton is a bit shaky on the vocals at first, but once she warms up, she does a super job singing the Sandy leads. I wish I was there for this one. Maybe someday I'll get back to Cropredy for another before Simon and Peggy have to be put on the stage in wheelchairs.
Highly recommended.

If you are a Fairport Convention fan, the Copredy 2002 concert is a must-have.
Granted, many voices have suffered over the years and there really is no replacement for Sandy Denny, but hey, there's the present Fairport lineup and there IS Richard Thompson!
