As a Hard rock fan and a live recordings collector, I couldn't miss this 3 cd live set. The sound quality is high , and I also found funny the after gig interwiews that each band did: they capture the emotions and the intensity of that glorious day for Rock n Roll.
If You are into this stuff , this is definitely a must have.
Higly recommended .

The soundtrack is professional quality. It sounds like a live album. I love the interviews with each band after each gig. The bonus dvd was great.

I went to this Festival. The ticket cost me $20, I was 13 and it was the greatest music experience of my life and I'm so glad I own it today !

The quality of this 3 disc set is stunning. I purchased it for the Judas Priest set but all of the performances are of outstanding sound quality. It captures a pivotal moment in live heavy metal. Well done to whoever was able to put this to tape!

disappointing. I had hoped to find great recordings of the entire day. I have not. The quality of the Van Halen is not great. I have 2 versions of the entire VH show on DVD, and one on CD. Not great. It'd be great to be able to the festivals recordings released with the quality that is certainly possible. There were at least 2 of the US fests that I remember. I attended the '83 shows..all of them. We were able to see and hear bands that were new, and many went on to be the biggest bands of their generation. I'll be looking. This particular collection isn't bad, but it isn't the quality it could be. I'll give a B just because it is an okay collection. I would prefer to have full sets from all of the bands listed in a quality that is what it should. No offense to any of those involved. I assume that everyone has does their best..;)

It's a classic concert but clearly PRE-DIGITAL sound wise. It's good music though & brings back some memories. Too bad it's not cleaned up more.
