tasty recipies, excessively complicated,

I have gotten some lovely recipies from this book---the Scottish beef tart, a smoked salmon mashed potato tart--but the author has made things WAAY too complicated. And the way the dough recipies are set up is the worst I have ever encountered: ingredients on page 16, mixing directions on page 30, cooking directions on page 45---COME ON! I love tarts, they are a lovely dinner/lunch/entertaining meal, but I recommend that you take these recipies as inspiration, rather than follow directly--you'll be less frustrated.
