80's German Punk to the rescue!, September 7, 1999

Pop meets punk. Think early Bauhaus. This album has some lovely bass lines, a voice both agressive and haunting, and drumming guarunteed to keep you rocking. Xmal's later albums (like "Viva") are a little too quiet "goth" for me. Fetisch remains one of my all time favorites.

This was qiute a revelation. German post-punk gothic rock that was sung by the beautiful anja huwe. It was very very listenable and has aged quite well. The first album would be followed by a much better second one.
