5.0 out of 5 stars Feverfew has helped many friends abate their headaches, June 3, 2007

This review is from: Feverfew: Your Headache May Be over (Keats Pivot Health Book) (Paperback)
I never knew how many friends suffered from migraines until I married a migraine sufferer. My friends strongly recommended this book, as in its turn it helped each of them get rid of migraines. My wife reluctantly started taking 2 capsules of dried commercial (Nature's Way, but YMMV) Feverfew a day, and it took several weeks to notice that her usual 2-3 headaches a week had become 1-2. After 2-3 months it was definate that her headaches were down to 2-3 a month, and of lesser duration and severity. Now she is at 2-3 a year, and if she notices the "flashes" early enough, she'll take a couple of capsules and often avoids a headache altogether.

This book is very practical in its coverage of the subject, though written by a "lay person" and not a medical practitioner or author. His research is well documented in footnotes, and frequently references Lancet, the British equivalent of the American Medical Association's JAMA. This book may help you or your loved ones get rid of their migraines, with a simple, inexpensive, safe, yet effective application of wild marigold leaf.
