4.0 out of 5 stars Not That Bad!, April 12, 2006

Yeah I picked this album up and it's pretty good. I wouldn't quite say it's 80's youthcore (like somebody below me said) I'd say it's modern Hardcore (not metalcore, you know hardcore). I just gotta point out, this sounds nothing like Youth of Today or Judge (well it's closer to Judge). Anyways, I hate the audio clips they have on this disc, for crying out loud one the samples is almost a minute long (dry hump). Other than that this is fantastic, hardcore without the metal and without the pyscho-crybaby lyrics. For some reason it sounds kinda fresh to hear a band scream about straightedge and hating smokers these days, even though I know there are 1 and a half million straight edge hardcore albums, this is fun and exciting. I'd love to go to thier show and shout along, definatley a good idea if you like this kinda stuff. If you like the lyrics with "substantial" lyrics (most kids think that means something about cutting yourself or killing your girlfriend, morons) then I doubt this would be for you, these guys all have crew cuts and probably wear jersies, so emo kid stay away from this! No angular haircuts and inflated egos here!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sweet album, June 7, 2004

This is a pretty good album. If you like youth-crew style hardcore from the 80's, you'll probably like this album. They sound a lot like The Comeback Kid too, which is definately not a bad thing. They have some funny samples from The Family Guy throughout the album too which is great. I would definately recommend this album to any hardcore fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars great piece of hxc, May 4, 2006

a friend of mine pressed this piece of music on me (thanks for that ) and i'm really impressed.
I'm not really into hardcore, i like it with a bit more melodic parts, but this really hit the spot in an instant and now i'm listening to it every day!
Great lyrics, great drums, catchy riffs...and I even like the audio bits, as I'm a big Family Guy fan.

So, do yourself a favor and buy this cd, it's totally worth it. If you like this, maybe listen into Evergreen Terrace's "Sincerity is an Easy Disguise in the Business"...

"Cigarettes killed my father - and raped my mother!"
