4.0 out of 5 stars My Fake Fiance (Wedding Flirts #1) August 25, 2012
By Jessica
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Samantha has had the misfortune of being invited to a High School frenemy's wedding. Sam's a twenty-nine year old single receptionist, and that isn't going to impress anyone. Desperate to not look as pathetic as she feels, she hires Justin, a hot struggling actor, to play the part of her Australian CEO Fiancee. When Justin asks her to return the favor, Sam's left wondering if the charade is still just a charade.

This was a cute little read. Sam and Justin are both likable, cute characters. This isn't deep, it isn't convoluted, it's just a short, simple love story that I found to be very enjoyable to read.

*This is a clean romance, there is sex between Sam and Justin, but it's only alluded to, not depicted.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cute February 12, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is the typical pretend to be my fake fiance/boyfriend story. Nothing new at all. Would have liked for the author to add more drama.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing July 15, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have liked all of the author's other works so far but this one was disappointing. My first issue is that the book was written in first person from both the main characters. It was hard to follow who's mind I was reading and which one was leading that section. The overall story was good, but certain aspects just didn't make sense.

The hero was 32 however he felt like his parents divorce was his fault. As a teen I could see how he would feel that way, but as an adult surely he knows the fault lies with his father not him. The hero doesn't have kids nor has he ever been married, HOWEVER, adults who are old enough to have kids of their own and be divorced should know the child is never responsible for the parents. This was a spoiler in the book for me. Instead of having guilt issues, the hero should have had a major pet peeve against lying cheating scumbags.

3.0 out of 5 stars Very short April 28, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
It was a very short story but that shouldn't mean that we shouldn't have time to connect to the characters. They were just words on paper and it wasn't believable that they ended up married so fast. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't amazing either.

3.0 out of 5 stars Too short April 17, 2013

I thought this was a very cute story, but unfortunately for me it ended way too soon. I enjoyed the author's writing style, it was very easy to read and I got pulled in right away. But by the time I got into it, it was finished. I just wished we got more meat and development out of this story.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cute short story March 20, 2013

This was a cute short story. It was a little too perfect would be my only complaint, otherwise it was good for the quick read that it was.

3.0 out of 5 stars Short , & Sweet! February 5, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Weddings should be happy times, and they are if you have the perfect date to your enemy wedding. Even Better when you can dream him up just the way you want to, to make her jealous.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cute January 8, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I prefer short stories since i don't have a lot of spare time. I laughed at a lot of things, but then again I'm easily amused. Enjoyed it despite its predictability. I liked how Sammie understood what Justin was about and vice versa. Needs minor editing.
