Strong First Effort, June 3, 2003

This CD is a strong first effort from Ohio-based band Knot Fibb'n. If you are thirsty for more "Celtic with a Kick" after listening to their second CD, Knot Loitering, or their third CD, True, buy this to see where it all began. Tim O'Neill's voice shines on "I'll Tell Me Ma" and "Only Our Rivers." This band is growing and evolving and here you hear it all, from gigs and reels to rolicking tunes and soulful ballads. Their "Arthur McBride" is still as fun today as the first time I heard it.
Your best bet is to see this band LIVE, but if you can't get out to see them, put this CD on and you'll have your own house party and dance a jig in your living room even if you are all alone!
