Very solid album...,

I seem to go through love/hate cycles with this album. I guess I wear it out and get sick of it, then start to miss it again.Anyway, very nice techno-synthpop (EBM, mebbe?). Lots of quick 4 on the floor, but great melodies and vocals make it totally listenable. Very solid all the way through, but I honestly wish they'd stick to one singer. The guests singers (I'm too lazy to look up names, sorry), just don't seem to cut it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, I say! Great album, though...

I've always been a fan on electronic music, I grew up listening to New Order, Front 242, PSB, etc but for a long time I couldn't find any "new" groups that grabbed my attention. Some where to "synth-poppy" for my taste and others were to harsh or industrial. If you find yourself in a similar position as I did, you HAVE to get this CD. The first time I heard about Neuroactive was through a review on "Interface" magazine. I bought the CD just based on the rave reviews where the album was described as the perfect hybrid of EBM and synth. FOR is more than a solid album... it's also the CD that renew my faith in the current synth/EBM scene. Highly recommended.

For a few years, I volunteered/ worked at my High school's radio station, working alongside our manager, learning the technical side, while DJ'ing occasionally. I had dabbled in techno and electronica, but my genre was Rock. As we packed up to move into our new building, we started to ditch the thousands of CD's the station had, in favor of digital media. Somehow, Fiberoptic rythm was among the CD's I took with me, it wasn't anything I would've taken, but I'm glad it happened. Visualize, Defeated, and the title track are all great, but there really isn't any fat on this album.
