Kellogg's FiberPlus Berry Yogurt Crunch Cereal

Kellogg's FiberPlus Berry Yogurt Crunch mixes whole-grain wheat and rice flakes with crunchy berry- and yogurt-flavored clusters to create a healthy, high-fiber cereal that also tastes great. And, with 40 percent of your daily fiber needs, antioxidant vitamins C and E, and 25 grams of whole grains per serving you can get your day off to a healthy start with a cereal the whole family will love.

The Benefits of Breakfast: A Healthy Way to Begin the Day

Starting the day with a balanced, great-tasting breakfast can put you on the fast track to good nutrition and better overall health. While many kids and adults forget this important first meal, research has shown that sitting down for a nutritious breakfast can decrease the risk of obesity, heart disease, and other nutritionally related conditions in kids and adults. Kids who eat breakfast:

  • Are more alert in school, with better concentration, memory and grades
  • Get more fiber, calcium, vitamins A and C, riboflavin, zinc, and iron to help build stronger bodies
  • Have more energy to pursue healthy and active lifestyles

Fill Up on Fiber

The studies are clear--fiber can help promote weight loss and healthier eating patterns, while increasing overall health:

  • Fiber takes longer to chew and slows down the rate at which we eat--giving our bodies a chance to let us know when we are full.
  • With fewer calories and greater bulk, high-fiber foods help us feel fuller for longer.
  • Fiber helps keep the digestive tract clean and healthy decreasing risk of intestinal disease.
  • Fiber-rich diets can help lower 'bad' cholesterol, lower blood pressure, and help control blood sugar levels.

A 3/4-cup serving of Kellogg's FiberPlus Berry Yogurt Crunch contains:

  • 100% of the recommended daily intake of vitamin E
  • 40% of the recommended daily intake of fiber
  • 35% of the recommended daily intake of vitamins B6 and B12
  • 35% of the recommended daily intake of thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, and folic acid
  • 25% of the recommended daily intake of vitamins A and C
  • 10% of the recommended daily intake of vitamin D
  • 10% of the recommended daily intake of phosphorus
  • 8% of the recommended daily intake of iron
  • 3 grams of protein
  • Low fat with zero saturated or trans fats

Add in the priceless experience of a shared family breakfast, with a simple to prepare cereal that everyone loves, and you've got Kellogg's FiberPlus Berry Yogurt Crunch Cereal.

A few years ago, I stumbled upon FiberOne products and simply spent all my free time annoying my friends and co-workers by talking non-stop about it. My friends joked that I should be the spokesperson. Well, fast forward a few years, and amazingly I've found a product that supplants FiberOne in my heart. FiberPlus has antioxidants that FiberOne doesn't have, but that's not why I like it better. I like it better because it generally just tastes better. FiberOne tastes fine (especially the raisin bran), but I still feel I am eating a "health cereal." This FiberPlus cereal tastes straight up delicious, regardless of its health benefits. I would be tempted to eat it even if it had the nutritional profile of Count Chocula. But of course, it's just as healthy as FiberOne.

Keep in mind, these are just my tastes. The yogurt balls that are included in this cereal are things I really enjoy, but others may not. But in general, the total taste is superior.

I used to buy the exact same stuff for $8-9 a few months ago. Three 15.3-ounce boxes for $8. And now it's $23? Don't even bother, you can just go to Target and get it cheaper.

As for the cereal it's awesome. Good flavor and regular bowel movements. Thanks, fiber!

This stuff I found at my sister's place. I tried it and loved it. It made me think of raisin branne [sic] with yogurt. Why don't those guys make that? Or berry bran? Or banana bran? Diversify Brainiacs!

Be very very careful. Don't ignore the verbiage on the front that says it has lots of fiber. I am a dude. I don't know or care what the hell that gibberish is supposed to mean.

But I learned if you do 2-3 bowls of this awesome tasting stuff, it better be your day off of work. Or else you WILL be racing home from work for the duration of the whole day.

It shoots the plumbing with a quickness. Recall or google Pope of Greenwich Village. When Paulie slips the cop a Mickie.

I love the flavor and the healthy parts, but I only do 1, that is ONE bowl each day or couple days MAX.

Be Smart.

I would have given this 5 stars but because of my daughter's red dye allergy she could't enjoy this as well. All the flavors were wonderful. It tastes great. I just wish that they would have used natural dyes to dye the berries red. There are so many healthier options to chemical dyes.

This is a very great tasting high fiber cereal. Unfortunately Kellogg decided to discontinue this cereal and continue making other cereals that taste like cardboard (Cinnamon Toast Crunch Fiber Plus for one). This pack was too high priced but since it was my last chance to use this cereal, I splurged.

One of the best cereals I've ever tasted. I'm not a big cereal eater, but I can have 2 bowls of this in one sitting. Personally, I can't eat the same flavor over and over again, so that's why most cereals are a no-go for me. But in FiberPlus Berry Yogurt Crunch, that's not the case. The granola clusters and yogurt balls make it interesting.

Buying the 3-pack of this cereal comes in really handy, as my husband and I both eat a lot of it, and we save a lot of money by doing it this way.

Tastes great and is filling, but should be renamed Flatulent Plus (maybe it's a little too much fiber). Stays crunchy for a while in the milk.

I love this cereal. It doesn't taste like a high fiber product. The sweet berry taste combined with the yogurt crunches is a great way to start the morning.
