This review is from: Fibonacci and Lucas Numbers, and the Golden Section: Theory and Applications (Dover Books on Mathematics) (Paperback)
Some time ago I reviewed a book by Dunlap on this subject, and gave it an enthusiastic 5 stars as THE definitive book on the subject. This book is really equally good. I think that if you're interested in this topic and don't have BOTH Dunlap's and Vajda's books, you're missing something important. There are these two books, and nothing else comes close.

This is not a book for those who want to use Fibonacci numbers to play the stock market; there seem to be a number of those, which is ridiculous. It is just a great text on the fascinating sequence known as the Fibonacci sequence, the related Lucas sequence, and the important relationship of both to the golden ratio.

This work is an excellent in depth treatment of the Fibonacci and Lucas numbers, as well as discussion of the Golden Section. Tying in the Golden Ratio, Phi and phi, is also treated.
Recommended for any serious student of the Fibonacci numbers and the Golden Ratio.
