About the Author
The author of this book is, by education, a theoretical chemist, but has had, since his youth, a strong interest in recreational mathematics. He has already published two books on CreateSpace, on music theory and measurement.

More About the Author
I studied theoretical chemistry in my younger years, getting a Ph. D. degree, but never managed to get a job in the field, so I spent most of the next 30 years as a programmer, but thankfully, I stayed in a scientific environment: most of my programming was related to the space program, and some of the rest was even related to chemistry!
I never much liked reading fiction -- the only subject I ever failed in school was literature! -- so obviously I'm not about to write fiction, of course. All of what I've written has to do with science or mathematics, and the mathematics is both applied and recreational. I love to play with math, and I hope that some of that will be shared by the readers of my book "The Fibonacci Sequence and Beyond." But I am aware that math can explain the real world too, and my book, "Construction of Musical Scales" shows this.
Now I'm getting close to 70, and since I have no children, my books are my children. I hope people will read them and find them enlightening. I enjoyed writing them. Please enjoy reading them.
