Chapters 7-10 examine the interface and telecommunication applications, particularly as they relate to transmitting, receiving and coupling. A final chapter presents optical fiber applications in an industrial environment, focusing on transmission and an explanation of the basic methodology required for evaluation of fiber optic links.
