This book is filled with typographical errors. There is little to no information provided. Generally, it provides lists of products to purchase...most of which belong to one company. I was really looking for help and answers. I didn't find them here.

This review is from: The Fibromyalgia Dental Handbook: A Practical Guide to Maintaining Peak Dental Health (Paperback)
Finding information on fibromyalgia and dental health was a challenge, until I found this gem of a book. Before picking up this book, I had no idea about the link between fibromyalgia and poor oral health.

Many conditions that go along with fibromyalgia are discussed. For example, irritable bowel syndrome, depression, and TMD are some of the common conditions that most people with fibromyalgia experience. Gum disease or poor health, in general, are risk factors, as explained here and greatly enhance the possibility of deterioration of one's condition. I was grateful that this book put a missing piece of the puzzle together.

This is an excellent reference guide; I know I will go back to it for many years to come. I recommend this book whether you have fibromyalgia or not. There's even a section with great tips on how to keep your mouth clean, such as why using an alcohol free mouthwash before you brush is helpful.

I'd give this book 10 stars if it was possible. I even gave a copy to my dentist who knew absolutely nothing about oral health and fibromyalgia.
Now he recommends it to his patients as well.
