Fibrozym® is comprised of plant-based enzymes, and a hypo-allergenic, high-purity strain of serrapeptase. Fibrozym normalizes the inflammatory response and improves overall tissue health. Unlike other similar products, Fibrozym is an enterically coated tablet. Each tablet passes through the stomach without being digested, where they are then absorbed into the blood stream via the small intestine. It is here in the blood stream where the enzymes get to work. Other products, which get digested in the stomach, become less effective once they finally reach the bloodstream.

I have tried many enzymes to assist with digestion or for pain. This works very well for both. I have tried Enzymaitc Therapy, and Garden of Life along with other brands and find this product to be the best. Taken 1/2 hour before dinner works well for difestion and taking in between meals on an empty stomach is good for pain. The dosages would be based on an individual need, I take five tablets, you may require less.
