A long-time fan of Jerry Holland I eagerly awaited the release of this album last fall. His fiddling begs for admiration due both to the unparalleled speed of his fingers and the creativity of his original songs. Boo Baby's Lullaby is an example of Jerry Holland's original style and remains one of my overall favorite songs. If you like Celtic fiddle music and its derivatives, this album would be a worthy addition to your collection.

Jerry Holland is one of a group of fine violinists of the Cape Breton Island style of Celtic music. In my mind, he's a step above even the best of them. His style is extremely rich and unique - always a pleasure to listen to.

jerry holland is the finest fiddler to ever come out of cape breton. when i saw him at the celtic colours festival, i was sent into the throes of ecstacy. this is a definite must-buy cd.
